Historic Tudor Renovation - Old Braeswood, Houston Moss Landscaping is honored to present the Historic Tudor Renovation , located in Old Braeswood of Houston! Our primary focus for this historic-level renovation was to enhance and preserve the architectural beauty of the classic Tudor home and its associated landscape. This work included carefully selected native plants nestled alongside classic landscaping materials: reclaimed brick pathways and natural stone accents in harmony with the home's architectural style. This was also highlighted by beautiful perennial gardens filled with color and texture year-round, designed to bloom in succession. A highlight of the landscape is the custom-built trellis, adorned with climbing roses, that provides visual interest and shade for outdoor seating. A major challenge for this property was the topographya steep slope exposing various "layers" of soil. Moss Landscaping designed a tiered garden utilizing local stone retaining walls to create levels that were aesthetically pleasing while managing drainage issues. Not only did this improve visual interest, but it also allowed the landscape to thrive for years to come. After completion, the homeowners expressed their happiness as they surveyed their outdoor sanctuary that beautifully harmonized historical character with functionality. This is a testament to Moss Landscaping's professionalism and a reflection of our passion for creating magical outdoor spaces.
