Our team brought the homeowner's dream of an outdoor retreat to life with an array of beautiful landscaping features that enhance the beauty of the house. The began with a detailed consultation to see what the homeowner's hopes were for a relaxing outdoor oasis. We designed with native plants that would thrive in the local weather while also improving the biodiversity of the area. The designs consisted of colorful perennials, lush shrubs, and ornamental grasses that bloom and provide interest throughout each season. A gorgeous hardscape was built with premier natural stone pavers to create a larger patio, with walking paths that connect to the different areas of the garden. The material choice is very important to us; this is why we selected eco-friendly, permeable pavers to help with water drainage and as little runoff as possible to address environmental concerns while maintaining an elegant look. One of the challenges we faced was the different grades of the site. Our team was able to service the site for the grading of the land and we designed tiered gardens to help with drainage but also to give layers and depth to the landscape. Having retaining walls made out of locally sourced stone also helped create functional seating areas while also minimizing soil erosion to help longevity of the hardscape design and soil stability. To help complete the for the overall experience, we added outdoor lighting to accent the architectural aspects of the hardscape and the beauty of the landscaping. Adding quantity and depth of illumination helped to develop the tranquil retreat during the evening. Once completed, the client was ecstatic with the work! The final was a stunning landscape that balanced nature and design, providing ample space for relaxation and entertainment.
