Located on the serene banks of Commerce Lake, the is a complete design and build process that dramatically refreshed the existing property with a modern take that embraced the surrounding landscape. The design includes a multi-tiered patio of durable, natural stone that provides ample space for outdoor entertaining and relaxing. The created seating walls, complete with soft LED lighting, are designed for evening entertaining. Our team also configured a beautiful outdoor kitchen with a grill, sink, and bar area that provides functionality that flowed seamlessly into elegance. Some of the key highlights of the included a lush garden of native plants that promote pollinators and biodiversity while creating appealing views of the lake. The native garden provides a dramatic visual of color year-round while requiring only low maintence - each of which demonstrates our stewardship towards creating sustainable landscapes. The presented some challenges, including a significant slope and proper drainage to avoid erosion. Our skilled team encountered each challenge with the installation of the needed drainage and retaining walls to ensure the beautiful landscape stays functional for years to come. The resulting backyard is spectacular and not only complements the stunning waterfront but also becomes an extension of the home to rest, entertain, or just hang out in nature. The clients were thrilled with their new outdoor space which includes views of the picturesque lake, as well as the overall tranquility and quality that Troy Clogg Landscape Associates provides.
