North Main Front Porch Extension JWK DESIGN is excited to share one of our recently completed s, a beautiful Front Porch Extension located in North Main. Serving the greater Greenville area, we turned this home’s front entryway into a welcoming retreat that seamlessly blends style with function and added curb appeal. The porch was extended to offer a larger area to relax and socialize. As part of the design, we chose high-quality, weather-resistant materials that included composite decking and natural stone accents to provide the durability our client wanted but still offered a refined look and feel. The new design includes custom railings and decorative columns that are consistent with the existing of the home. One of the biggest challenges we faced was the site grade surrounding the entry. Our team used modern grading techniques to help create a flat area that offered safe and easy access to the porch. In addition to the structural elements, we incorporated beautiful landscaping elements (native plants and blooming perennials) into the design to add even more vibrancy to the yard with seasonal interest while requiring limited maintenance. The final front porch result was not only stunning, but it provided an inviting space for the homeowners and guests to enjoy their home. The homeowner was more than pleased with the transition, mentioning how much more functional the property was and how much charm the new provided to the home.
