Lake Keowee Backyard for Entertaining JWK DESIGN is excited to provide the new , entitled "Lake Keowee Backyard for Entertaining," which truly showcases the high quality and construction techniques we utilize as designers. In such a beautiful setting on Lake Keowee, we worked to create an inviting outdoor living space, perfect for family and friends to gather and take in the natural beauty around. The expansive backyard allowed for a large stone patio that our clients can host summer barbeques and evening gatherings with family and friends. We used premium flagstone and natural bluestone that provides both durability and beauty in a seamless transition from the interior of the home to the outdoor living space. Including a custom fire pit with a built-in seating wall would warm the space while creating a perfect view for starry evenings with loved ones. In addition to the great entertaining space, we installed an outdoor kitchen equipped with stainless steel cooking appliances, granite countertops, and an elegant pergola for shade. The outdoor kitchen creates a distinct outdoor cooking experience that encourages social interaction, bringing loved ones together. One of our main obstacles was the slope of the terrain; we used tiered landscaping and retaining walls to navigate the slope. Not only do the tiers help with aesthetic sense, but usable space was maximized, allowing for a garden full of native foliage and seasonal flowers throughout the year. The final product is a beautiful oasis, an entertaining area that strikes a beautiful balance of functionality and aesthetics that meets our client's objectives.
