Moongate Perennial Garden Winland's Complete Landscaping Service is excited to share the Moongate Perennial Garden we recently completed in Zanesville, Ohio. The is indicative of Winland's quality workmanship and creativity, and our incredible team was excited to assist challenged clients from Adamsville, Duncan Falls, Hopewell, North Zanesville, Philo, South Zanesville, and Cambridge. The Moongate Perennial Garden has a beautiful circular entrance arch made of wood. Visitors cannot help but be captivated while entering this colorful oasis. Our design team planted a diverse selection of perennials displaying different colors and foliage such as echinacea, daylilies, and hostas that will bloom throughout the seasons. Native plants were selected to support local wildlife and biodiversity, and the client's vision. One of our challenges was the variability of the soil quality in the area. After conducting a soil analysis, we added organic compost and nutrient-rich topsoil for improved structure and fertility. Because moisture management is imperative for perennial plantings, we installed and specified the irrigation system, which allows the landscape to deliver water to the plants without wasting resources. Careful attention to detail defines our s. Flagstone was carefully laid to create stone paths, sourced from a local quarry of flagstone. We utilized boulders positioned throughout the garden to create a natural ruggedness. Ambient lighting was incorporated into the design, which makes the garden glow at night. We are excited to see our clients enjoy the space they could share with their guests and family. Just as important, we were pleased to take an ordinary site and create a remarkable retreat showcasing the functional and artistic dimensions of Winland’s commitment to excellence and the beauty adding to the landscape.
