Front and Rear Patio and Planting Design Raimondi Hort Grp | The Little Flower Shoppe is proud to have completed a centerpiece landscape that transformed a residential property into a breathtaking outdoor room. Located in the heart of Elmwood Park, this Front and Rear Patio and Planting Design reflects our company’s quality and creativity working with clients in the greater Bergen County area including Fair Lawn, Franklin Lakes, Glen Rock, and beyond. This involved two separate but connected outdoor living spaces. The natural stone pavers installed on the front patio are durable and aesthetically appealing, complementing the architecture of the home. Seasonal and ornamental grasses in the beds enhance the curb appeal, providing visitors with a warm and inviting feeling upon entry. The rear patio is both spacious for gatherings and relaxing, with feature composite decking paving and a custom fire pit, built from local stone, in the center of the patio for evening fire and conversations. We worked with the existing natural conditions of the yard, overcoming problematic drainage and loose uneven soils from the packing and use of the land, along with ensuring nice even grading from patio to patio. Our planting plan includes: native perennials, annuals, and strategically placed shrubs to create visual appeal and year-round interest. The overall planting design adds even more interest and drawing diversity for native pollinators. This pleased the client, and the transformation of the yards provides an attractive personal take on their home. The outdoor spaces are functional on the front for family and entertaining, while providing a warm and comfortable ambiance for the entire family to relax after work or enjoying evenings with friends.
