Our initial step in the was an extensive consultation, where we uncovered the vision and requirements of the client. Well, we had a difficult one to deal with, the house had a sloped front yard which meant that we had drainage problems, we fixed this expertly by grading and strategically installing a great drainage system. This would not only serve to maximize the functionality of the landscape, but also safeguard the home from water. A combination of native and ornamental plants enhances the visual appeal of seasonal changing flowers providing colorful perennial flowers and lush blooming shrubs engaging year-round beauty. Knowing this was an important view, we instilled a little structure and visual interest by laying down sophisticated paths of local flagstone that guided visitors from the driveway to the front door. Strategically placed in the landscaping, accent lighting illuminated various elements and complemented security functions with welcoming yet subtle evening glow. As a grand finale, the resulted in a custom wooden trellis a real eye-catcher with climbing vines to provide shade and nice screen. Eco friendly mulching did help to retain moisture and suppress weeds as well as delineate plant beds allowing the landscape to thrive longer. The transformation output was finally completed and the client was very happy. No longer the oft-forgotten front yard, it is the showstopper that highlights their home and offers a tranquil escape for family and friends.
