The included a complete redesign of the landscape, balancing functional and aesthetic aspects that complemented the architecture of the home while improving curb appeal. The design included a beautiful assortment of native plants, strategically selected for their hardiness and seasonal interest, assuring a colorful landscape every season. A custom stone path from local fieldstone forges a winding trail through the garden and leads a path to various zones, encouraging discovery. A naturally-formed water feature, with a gently flowing fountain, serves as a focal point and brings a soothing sound element to the outdoor space as well. The topographic challenge of a steeper slope required careful planning. Our team was able to introduce terraced garden beds and high-quality, natural stone retaining walls. These gardens harmoniously blend into the landscape and offer passive erosion management. The improvement allowed us to respond to topography, while creating opportunities to promote distinct spaces for planting, sitting, and relaxing. Beyond the planting and hardscaping component of the , we also introduced an energy-efficient LED light plan to define landscape features within the garden after sunset. The wider landscape experience of the garden can now be enjoyed before and after dark while offering room to sustain caring for it. The finish product surpassed our client's expectations. They now have an outdoor living space that became a spectacular retreat. This embodied charm, function, and true craftsmanship that has left a lasting impression - all while sharing their home, now a showpiece of Troy Clogg Landscape Associates art.
