Mohesky Residence The Mohesky Residence by DG2 Design Landscape Architecture is one of our transformative landscaping s that best showcase our commitment to excellence and creativity. Nestled in an urban downtown area of St. Louis, this skillfully balances form and function while respecting the distinct needs of the clients. Its landscaping showcases an incredible diversity of native plantings, that draw out the natural aesthetic beauty of the property, whilst also supporting biodiversity. Carefully chosen trees, shrubs, and perennials weave a rich tapestry that shifts with the seasons, ensuring year-round color and vibrancy. An elegant outdoor living space was carved out of high quality materials, sourced locally, including stone and composite decking, and done in a manner that combines a custom fire pit and seating area intended for relaxing and socializing. As for the property, the uneven terrain was one of the biggest challenges we had to contend with. A series of terraced garden beds were expertly designed by our team to both remedy the slope issues and add interest to the landscape. Truly unique drainage systems were deployed to ensure longevity and safeguard the property from water runoff and erosion. The end result is a jaw-dropping outdoor sanctuary the Mohesky family never imagined possible. Watching their vision unfold before their eyes, space for leisure and family hang-outs married seamlessly to the overall concept, only contributed to their delight.
