Custom Firepit Incorporating an Existing Patio At Woodward Landscape Supply, we were very excited to enhance an outdoor space in the heart of our service area, by adding a custom firepit to an existing patio, which is a practical and beautiful addition to a gathering place. The began with a determination of the client's preferences and needs, followed by the selection of durable and quality materials such as natural stone and fire rated pavers, which is rustic in character and designed to last for the client. The firepit is circular in design with a coordinated seating area with weather-resistant seating options. The seating was integrated into the firepit area, establishing a gathering place which was warm and welcoming for all guests. One challenge we encountered was incorporating the firepit design into the existing patio area so that proper spacing and usability existed when introducing the two spaces. Our skilled craftsmen approached the design using innovative techniques. They ensured the integration of the new firepit was seamless to the existing patio layout while maintaining a continuous flow across the newly designed outdoor space. We also implemented measures to follow local building code regulations to ensure the new product was safe and easily enjoyed by the client. Ultimately, the final outcome was beautiful and functional. The firepit became a focal point for the area, while we improved the adjacent landscaping with lighting appropriately placed to enhance the beauty of the area during the evening.
