Sod Installation and Paver Walkway by Aerate 1 Landscaping & Ponds, Inc. For the past few months, Aerate 1 Landscaping & Ponds, Inc. has been fortunate enough to revitalize a residential landscape in Naperville through a sod installation and paver walkway . This was a complete transformation, both visually appealing and functional for long-lasting years to come. We began by reviewing the existing landscape and pinpointing where grading and preparation were needed to provide a proper foundation for the new sod installation. We used a premium Kentucky bluegrass sod that gives you that lush green look and dense durability. We prepped the soil and installed it the sod to provide an environment to promote healthy growth. The sod installation process begins with the removal of the old grass and debris. Then, we aerated and fertilized the lawn, making way for the sod take hold in the soil properly. In addition to the beautiful sod, we also designed and built a paver walkway to lead guests from the driveway to the front door. We used Belgard pavers in earth tones to give a natural appeal to the new sod installation and full landscape design. We determine the best layout and path to promote flowing features while keeping the visual appeal. One avenue we ran into was the uneven canopy which required thoughtful leveling to ensure proper drainage without pooling water. We employed a degree of levitating techniques to give the walkway an aesthetically pleasing look, while still capturing functional water runoff, ensuring the longevity of the pavers. The ultimate goal was achieved! Our clients were ecstatic with the verdant, lush lawn with a welcoming paver path that surrounds this beautiful home.
