Imperial Landscape | Flora Design and Landscape Featured THE IMPERIAL LANDSCAPE, by Flora Design and Landscape, this incredible Ballwin exterior get-a-way makeover took elegance in outdoor living to an entirely new level for our clients. Spanning a backyard that had been a wasted space for decades, this bold transformed the area into an amazing sanctuary that's all at once functional and beautiful. Our team carefully selected a blend of native plantings, colorful flower beds, and hardscaping features placed in relation to one another. We used high-end materials including natural stone pavers for the patio and retaining walls and a deep variety of mulch and decorative gravel for aesthetics. This outdoor retreat has a custom built fire pit and comfortable seating, making it a natural gathering place for the family. We had plenty of works to contend with such as a slopping topography and drainage problems. The landscape was professionally graded and a full drainage system was installed so that the area would last forever, without water ponding. This feedback created a well thought-out space that not only solved these obstacles but also offered a seamless transition from the indoor spaces to the outdoors. The end result of the 'Imperial Landscape' completely amazed our clients. They now have a perfectly planned space for the yard with floral seasons, greenery in summer and a landscape that serves both for guests and relaxation time.
