About This Project

Westchester Country Home Keith E. Simpson Associates, Inc. is pleased to present the 'Westchester Country Home' landscaping , an elegant and functional transformation. This large piece of property, set in the beautiful surroundings of Westchester, provided some challenges with its slope and the client's desire for a good interplay between nature and outdoor living spaces. The designers created a multi-tiered landscape with native plantings, to promote sustainability and a low-maintenance design while enriching the aesthetic of the home. A high level of quality was used in all materials including locally-sourced stone for the walkways and picturesque dry-stacked walls which both meld into the existing site. The included a custom patio with a fire pit and outdoor kitchen for hosting family gatherings. Drainage was restored with an innovative rain garden that accommodates stormwater runoff while adding a lively focal point to the landscape. Our emphasis on quality craftsmanship shows in everything from the selection of perennials, which bloom throughout the seasons, to the selection of ornamental trees that frame the house well. The finished landscape is a spectacular outdoor retreat that our clients are sure to enjoy, while meeting the client's vision and enhancing the property's value. The 'Westchester Country Home' is a beautiful example of our commitment to high quality landscapes that provide tranquil escapes almost anywhere in the community.
