The problem was to build an outdoor space that could be both practical and attractive. We designed a large patio using only the very best natural stone pavers that will not only stand the test of time but also add to the aesthetics of the landscape. The pavers were painstakingly laid to create an adequate, beautiful mosaic pattern that provided a warm, welcoming, family gathering place for entertaining people. Next, we created a custom cook station which featured a grill, and plenty of counter space for cooking with weather-resistant materials. We designed the cook station to withstand the elements and provide focus for outdoor culinary exploration. Again, around the cook station, we added colorful flower beds with lush greenery, using only native plants that are proven to thrive in our region. The out comes sprigs of potential low maintenance greenery which creates an environmentally sustainable landscape. To provide additional charm and shade, we created a beautiful pergola. Rendered in slowly to weather premium cedar wood, the pergola has elegant curvy beams to provide openness and allow some respite from the sun leaky. We added climbing vines that are intended to flourish over time, while really adding to the peaceful atmosphere of the space. The pergola was created and designed to complement the existing structure of the home and add additional landscape charm. Undoubtedly, we had ugly site conditions to address. Undaunted, we leveled and graded the site for adequate drainage and stability. Once we executed this fundamental groundwork, the build was in motion for a safe and practical outdoor space.
