Intimate Garden Space Burke Brothers Landscape Design/Build is excited to announce the 'Intimate Garden Space' . Sometimes referred to as intimate spaces, this garden area showcases our belief in creating a place of refuge in the middle of suburban living. Our was situated in Bryn Mawr, and once again, tested our ethical standards as merchants of quality and craftsmanship for our demanding clientele. Like many urban settings, the benefits of a reduced lot had both its challenges and an inventive design response that allowed us to utilize the footprint and create a rich experience. The client specifically requested native plants, so we utilized the native plantings coupled with stone walkways and natural wood throughout the space to enrich their experience of the garden. The water feature also assisted in creating an ambiance of tranquility and drew in wildlife. The client's high expectations for the quality of materials did not go unnoticed, as we utilized fountain, locally quarried stone for the walkways, and further selected sustainable materials, including cedar for the garden's trellises and seating. Moreover, we were asked to select materials for plantings that would provide longevity, and through determine use with for the design, including perennials, bnacy bushes, and aromatic plants, we calibrated for both enjoyment of sense of manage and beauty. Even the lighting played a role, showcasing the outdoor experience in the am and evening. When the was completed, the client was extremely happy to have their new private space that provided solitude and catered for entertaining. Intimate Garden Space represents yet another example of Burke Brother's craft, the enhancement of outdoor experience and the integration of nature into everyday experience. Burke Brothers takes pride in redefining outdoor space throughout Abington, Ambler, Ardmore or beyond as this shared outdoor place.
