Backyard Oasis in North Orem Big Rock Landscaping is proud to present the 'Backyard Oasis in North Orem' landscaping , a that demonstrates our commitment to quality and creativity. Situated in Orem, Utah, we designed this to convert a regular backyard into an oasis for relaxation and socialization. This backyard oasis features beautiful, sustainable plantings, thoughtfully placed stone pathways, and a custom-built pergola that fits naturally into the landscape design. For the patio area, we used locally-sourced flagstone to provide a rustic touch and created a colorful palate year-round with native plants. One of the 's major challenges was the slope of the yard. Our solution was to terrace the landscaping into functional spaces that were also appealing to the eye. We strategically designed and placed the natural boulders in order to create a terraced retaining wall and plant garden, changing the complicated topography into a useable beautiful space. The centerpiece of the backyard oasis is a water feature with a waterfall and koi pond that adds visual interest as well as sound and peace to the atmosphere. The renovation included a large area that we designed and managed an efficient irrigation system to make this yard sustainable and decrease the amount of water used in Utah's climate. The end product is truly a backyard oasis that exceeded the clients hopes and expectations into a relaxing escape in their own backyard. Between the various textures and colors that were sourced for the space, we were able to deliver a completed landscaping that also reflects Big Rock Landscaping's craftsmanship and effort to improve outdoor living for families across Orem, Utah, as well as in Lake Shore, Lindon, Mapleton, Pleasant Grove, Provo, Spanish Fork, Springville, and Vineyard, Utah.
