Elevated Family Fun in Salt Lake County by Big Rock Landscaping In Salt Lake County, Big Rock Landscaping has turned a suburban backyard into a contemporary family oasis, titled "Elevated Family Fun." Servicing the communities of Lake Shore, Lindon, Mapleton, Orem, Pleasant Grove, Provo, Spanish Fork, Springville, and Vineyard, we take pride in quality and innovation shown through this . Mirrored in the outdoor family retreat is a multi-leveled cedar deck, which takes the outdoors higher, while also capturing the views of the surrounding mountains. It is connected through a custom built fire pit and walls with seating of natural stone, offering a great place to socialize within your family or friends. To round out the outdoor experience, we installed a high-quality irrigation system. Along with drought resistant plants with minimal water needs, the family can enjoy lush landscaping throughout the seasons. Flower beds in place of turf and bushes added for color work with a variety of native plants to increase local biodiversity while being minimal to the carbon footprint. The one of the most significant hurdles to this and the family's use was the sloped yard. The construction of a beautiful rustic timber and boulder retaining wall gave stability to the landscape while creating visual levels for planting and play. A fantastic utilization of landscape, this function lends itself to a children’s play area with durable and safe turf. The ends with a well lit landscape that utilizes soft LED lights to highlight the beauty of plants and natural architecture of the deck and fire pit area. This translates into a beautiful retreat for the family, considering ease of engaging with guests while being together and creating memories at home.
