About This Project

'Pools' by Big Rock Landscaping At Big Rock Landscaping, we are proud of transforming outdoor areas into beautiful and useful escapes. Our newest , 'Pools', embodies this spirit in a beautiful neighborhood environment that includes Lake Shore, Lindon, Mapleton, Orem, Pleasant Grove, Provo, Spanish Fork, Springville, and Vineyard. This consisted of the design and installation of a custom and elegant pool, with a new surrounding landscaped area. We used high-quality materials like natural stone coping, pavers that will outlive the , and colorful drought-resistant plants to create a seamless transition from pool to landscape. One of the 's challenges was addressing the natural sloping topography of the site. Our team was able to address this challenge through careful grading and the installation of a curved retaining wall that gives structural integrity and aesthetics to the area, while also accounting for better drainage, and improved aesthetics. With proper drainage, we were able to prevent any issues with water occurring into the peripheral landscape and protect the integrity of the pool. To provide a better overall experience, we added ambient lighting, illuminating several trees and plant feature beds, highlighting the varied textures and natural stone features. Once completed, the surrounding lighting turned into a true oasis, transforming the entire area by evening. The overall feature combines elegance and beauty to bring relaxation together with a lounge area of custom-built wooden decking to welcome family and guests. The client was ecstatic with the detail and quality of workcommenting how well the area pairs with their main modern home while providing the perfect gathering space for family togetherness and summer festivities.
