Pool Patio at Palatine Private Residence Located in Palatine, CB Conlin Landscapes Inc. recently completed the Pool Patio at this residence. This exemplifies the balance between luxury and functionality for this particular outdoor space. The designer created this luxurious outdoor room with a unique backyard experience in mind while appreciating and enhancing the existing landscape. The pool patio is an expansive area finished with beautiful and durable slip-resistant porcelain tile. The patio includes a vast lounging area perfect for sunbathing and socializing outdoors. The raised planters designed around the patio give the landscape texture and color throughout the seasons and are filled with ornamental grasses and perennials. One of the difficulties we encountered during this endeavor pertains to the uneven ground in the backyard. Our team was able to level the area properly while maintaining necessary drainage so that water would not pool in unintended areas, which created a solid foundation for the installation. In addition, we added a custom sheeted stone fire pit, which gives the family a cozy gathering point for lounging at night, along with low-voltage LED lighting seeping from the fire pit, providing atmosphere and safety for night use! The product of this is a pool patio, which is not only what the client envisioned, but an upgraded outdoor space they can enjoy as a family or with friends for years to come!
