Outdoor Entertainer's Dream For our wonderful client, we were able to create an 'Outdoor Entertainer's Dream' backyard right in the heart of Nisswa, at Landsburg Landscape Nursery. This sought to achieve an inviting and functional outdoor space suitable for entertaining family and friends throughout the seasons. We started out with an enormous, well-designed patio consisting of natural bluestone papers that harmonize with the greenery. We added a beautiful fire pit to set the mood here, adding custom engineering along with cedar lumber grown right here in our back yard to serve as seating and a place to socialize around fire storms after dark. A major issue involved balancing the uneven ground and not harming the mature trees our client loved. The site was extremely steep and our experienced civil team used cutting-edge grading and natural stone retaining wall techniques to create tiered landscaping that provided function and a beautification element to the area. Our design also included bright perennial flower beds and maintenance-friendly shrubs that flower at minimum throughout each season providing a colourful background for any event. With an emphasis on form as well as function, our design included a well-appointed outdoor kitchen outfitted with stainless steel high-end appliances. Soft ambient lighting was incorporated throughout the design, along with some unique landscaping features that made for a seamless transition from sunset to dusk, creating the ultimate seamless entertaining space. The client was over the moon when completed with a new outdoor feature, opening up a brand new enjoyable retreate where the family can congregate, have play days and barbeques on the balcony with a peaceful night time enjoying the stars. This is the kind of beautiful transformation that we aim to present to our clients at Landsburg Landscape Nursery as a constant reminder of our dedication to building outdoor living spaces that embody a part of their vision.
