EXHIBITOR: Landsburg Landscape Nursery Waterfall with Fairy Garden In the process, Landsburg Landscape Nursery transformed a tranquil backyard as they built this dreamy 'Waterfall with Fairy Garden', tucked away along the picturesque landscapes around Baxter, Brainerd and beyond. An ideal that will combine the soothing sounds of water with the beauty of a tabletop fairy garden. One of the larger features of the includes a natural stone waterfall cascading into a pond that is constructed from locally-sourced granite and river rock in order to tie in with the surrounding landscape. Soothing small scale water makes the site a magnet for local wildlife, as well as a delightful place to linger and reflect. We carefully sourced materials that will not only look good but withstand the elements. A major challenge we worked through was the natural topography of the site. Given the different slopes of the land, our landscapers created tiered levels to direct the movement of water, and a stunning terrace landscape. Native plants such as ferns and wildflowers were incorporated for biodiversity as well as to reinforce the fairy garden concept directly in the water garden. The fairy garden itself is a whimsical space within a space filled with tiny houses, fun pathways, and colorful foliage that encourages the creative imagination to roam. We chose a mix of vibrant seasonal flowers, along with low-maintenance perennials to keep the area lively year-round, yet environmentally-conscious. Our clients were over the moon with the end result. They transformed both the area immediately outside their house and the space with fuller use for family and friends with the Waterfall with Fairy Garden .
