Decks & Patios Garnet Valley Farms We just finished a beautiful landscaping over at Garnet Valley Farms called Decks & Patios, providing beauty and functionality to our clients outdoor living spaces around the beautiful communities of Arden, Aston, and West Chester. It's a shining example of our passion for quality and providing unique products. Our team began with an in-depth site analysis where we uncovered the developers desire for a multi-functional outdoor space providing a seamless transition from indoors to outdoors in the surrounding landscape. The included a large deck built to spec with top of the line composite materials that last a long time, is low maintenance, and looks like real wood. Surrounding the deck in other elegant touches such as built-in seating and planters to promote gathering and moments of relaxation. We also laid a beautiful stone patio with locally sourced flagstone which blends nicely with the environment of the surroundings in addition to the deck. With the curved pathways and a fire pit section, the complex layout promoted year-round use of the outdoors. Challenges with the included an uneven lot, drains, etc., which we successfully managed using a sophisticated grading system and incorporated drainage adjustments to avoid water collection. It was this combination of organic form and purpose that ultimately resulted in the stunning outcome, a space where the client can host visitors or be with family. The way that the deck and stone patio combined with subtle landscaping features (such as native plants and softly glowing lights) elevated the outdoor space to a private oasis. The feedback from our clients was positive on all fronts, not only in regards to the appearance but also the integrated environment; where every aspect becomes aligned to enhance the user's experience.
