The objective of the was to improve the aesthetics and functionality of the commercial space, while integrating principles of sustainability into the overall landscape. To this end, our design and construction experts conceptualized outdoor environments that visualized their site context in detail using and building native, drought tolerant, and sustainable materials into a welcome respite away from indoors. Elegant pathway elements were created with hardscaping featuring natural stone for an artistic effect, with seating areas and decorative walls developed into feature spaces, giving employees and clientele an enjoyable visual to engage. One of the obstacles faced at the commercial properties was the amount of varying topo and soil conditions present at each location. Our landscape architects conducted extensive site assessments to evaluate drainage, soil conditions, and vegetation. This proved to be a key aspect of enhancing the landscape longevity and appropriateness of plant selection used throughout the overall site as well as irrigation that improved the efficiency of water use, while enabling optimal plant growth. In the end, we produced an attractive landscape that added curb appeal and provided an inviting component to the commercial business interactions. Where once the properties presented as mere asphalt lots now welcomed colorful flower beds, trees that provided much desired shade, as well as green areas to delight in, ultimately improving the properties into enjoyable sustainable landscapes.
