Detail : Garden Creations, Inc. · Annuals in the Garden Located in the center of Avon, Garden Creations, Inc. is proud to showcase our newest display garden, "Annuals in the Garden." This colourful embodies our approach to improving outdoor spaces by means of careful planning and high-quality workmanship. Within a beautiful area of the property, we decided to fill the garden space with an array of annual flowers (petunias, marigolds, zinnias) that would provide vibrant colors and hold up well in the local climate. We used the best soil amendments available to us to propagate healthy stalks while grabbing end-of-life decorative gravel for paths and ease-of-access. There were a few considerable obstacles throughout the process such as the slope of the site, which, without proper drainage, would have resulted in a death sentence for the plants. Solution // Our talented landscape architects crafted a tiered planting system to solve this issue, but also add some interest and depth to the garden. Retaining walls using locally sourced stone, carefully crafted to hold the hillsides in place while fitting in with the natural surroundings The end product is a beautiful, vibrant garden, welcoming all residents and visitors to enjoy. This kind of strategic layout not only thrives in the appearance of the temporary season in char but it also perpetuate throughout the seasons. The client was over the moon to thank us for being so detail-oriented and thoughtful in executing their vision.
