Nature Works Land Care Inc.'s Installation of Arborvitae "Living Fence" Trees In the beautifully scenic area of Western Massachusetts and parts of Connecticut and New York, Nature Works Land Care Inc. was delighted to install the Arborvitae "Living Fence" Trees in this complete Blake Landscaping transformation that completely changed the outdoor living space for our customers. The shade area included Arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis selected) which was chosen for denser foliage and hedge-like characters to provide an effective natural screen to give privacy and windbreaks. We planted more than 50 mature Arborvitae trees with our team, carefully placed to provide a green, living fence that blesses the property with visual appeal while also providing plenty of privacy and wind protection throughout all months of the year. There were times over the course of the when planning was crucial so that we could navigate the particularities of the site the soil types and existing landscaping features all posed different challenges. Our pro team added high-quality organic soil compost and mulch to the soil to allow trees to grow healthily and sustainably. Every tree was selected by hand for health and vigor and our talented landscape designers worked directly with clients to seamlessly integrate with their existing layouts. The end result was nothing less than spectacular. This lush green living fence not only improved the aesthetic appeal of the property but also acted as a tranquil getaway while also serving as a perfect setting for outdoor gatherings.
