It was important to do this to minimize the risk of major erosion within steep terrain while also maintaining the landscape and local ecosystem. Using the innovative Filtrexx SiltSoxx™ technology we created a balance between an efficient erosion control system while maintaining an environmental aesthetic. The organic materials also looked great whilst also ensuring good soil retention and water filtration. Stabilizing the hillside was a big task and our team took careful steps in moving forward. We had planned through every possible complication during the process, from soil types to weather changes, and managed to achieve a perfect install. The Outcome: The outcome blown away our client expectations. Not only is that hillside now safe, but it has also been beautifully planted out with local native plants that work perfectly there and have given it a captivating habitat for local critters. The end client was thrilled with the results, not only improving the property value significantly but also making their part to save the environment.
