Saint Augustine Residence Multi Putting Greens The Saint Augustine Residence , completed by Collins Turf Division, embodies our dedication to terrific landscaping and innovative outdoor design. Located within the active community of Jacksonville, this features not just one, but multiple custom built putting greens, to meet the needs of an outdoor space that is both visually pleasing and functional. The team used top shelf turf for putting greens, which emulated a natural playing experience while also being low maintenance. Each green was built to specific contours creating undulation for thrill seekers or for casual enjoyment. Natural stone borders define the greens while blending with the surrounding landscape that exudes elegance. One challenge we faced was the site being incredibly uneven. Our landscaping team actually utilized some construction services grading to create a level area while keeping the natural surroundings in place. This improvement also assisted with managing the visual amenity, playability, and drainage to minimize water gathering and damage to the surrounding turf and facility. To help quality that our client expected, we double tested the turf before a complete installation in efforts to:- quality, longevity, performance. We also took considerable time to install ambient lighting in order to provide evening play while providing a stunning sunset effect during play time. In the end, it left a beautiful spectacle which surpass our clients increased their enjoyment of the and home. The putting greens have been a great new aspect for their home which are a space for families to gather, a place for some friendly wager/competition and a space to hang out.
