Our team was tasked with the difficult job of transforming an uninspiring backyard into a thriving Mediterranean palette, complete with stunning greenery, beautiful flowers, and relaxing water features. To add to the story, we utilized native Mediterranean planting choices, such as olive trees, lavender, and bougainvillea, combining the beauty of the Mediterranean with all the plants necessary to thrive in its local climate. Quality stonework played a significant role in this and we sourced weathered terracotta clay tiles and rustic cobblestone paths that helped with the experience and flow throughout the new landscape. Throughout the , we had to overcome several obstacles, such as site drainage and topography problems. Our skilled staff helped to level the site and installed adequate drainage to maximize the flow of water through the landscape and eliminate threats of flooding. The highlight of the is the custom built, cascading fountain that serves as a focal point and soothing soundscape. Surrounding seating spaces invite relaxation and contemplation, allowing for spaces to gather or be alone. In the end, our client was thrilled to unveil the transformation. The 'Mediterranean Masterpiece' enhanced the existing architecture of their home and created an outdoor living space that respects the plants and nature.
