Cottage Landscape in The Woodlands | Design by Designs By Elizabeth Located in the center of The Woodlands, this exhibits our dedication to quality and craftsmanship for homeowners in Conroe, Houston, Humble, Magnolia, and even more. Potato Creek This scenic garden is a gorgeous fusion of native plantings and colorful annuals that have been chosen to flourish in the region and complement the cottage look. We added natural stone paths, opening up to a nice seating area surrounded by shrubs and flowering perennials, making a comfortable lounge area to sit in. We also used highly durable materials that minimize environmental impact such as large slabs of local flagstone that blend in with the environment and provide outstanding aesthetics as well. We worked with the land, instead of against itIn addition to the artistic choices to plant colour throughout each season, we had to contend with nature too: Our team struggled against some areas that were uneven, while others were not as sunny but through careful planning and creative solutions, we were able to artistically shape the land so it worked to its utmost both in function and beauty. The end result is a cottage scene that brings a smile to the clients face, with cohesive design throughout.
