Landscape Designs - 3D by R&A Landscaping R&A Landscaping is excited to present the 'Landscape Designs - 3D' , an exciting initiative built on our quality and innovative solutions to landscaping. This served the beautiful cities of Allegan, Kalamazoo, Martin, Otsego, Parchment, Plainwell, Grand Rapids, Portage, Mattawan, Vicksburg, Oshtemo, Gull Lake, Gun Lake, Byron Center, Caledonia, and Cutlerville; the client wanted to create a beautiful outdoor landscape by integrating functional space and aesthetics. The outdoor space included a visual in 3D of the landscaping, and gave the clients the opportunity to witness their dream space come together prior to construction. A few well thought drawn up and budgets elements that were incorporated in the included a custom stone patio constructed of natural flagstone sourced locally, providing a durable and aesthetic gathering place for family and friends and perennial flowering beds constructed with locally sourced native plants selected for the growing region, to provide a seasonal display of colour and texture. One of the unique challenges inherent in the space was the hilly, rocky landscape and terrain. The designer was able to incorporate a terraced garden, which created a manageable solution while increasing the visual interest in the landscape as well. Using reclaimed wood and boulders, the designer built a series of retaining natural materials creating smaller areas giving a sense of definition and encouragement of explore, while maintaining nature’s integrity. Sustainable features were included into the design such as a rain garden, tasked with stormwater control and management ultimately protecting the landscaping while encouraging local wildlife benefit. This is a wonderful exemplification of R&A Landscaping’s commitment to environmental stewardship. After the completion, the result was simply stunning. The client was overwhelmingly happy with their new outdoor sanctuary, which provides balance of beauty and function. The right, thoughtful design solutions with high quality materials and craftsmanship changed the clients outdoor experience, making it a beautiful space for relaxing and entertaining family and friends. It is an incredible privilege to create a lasting nature based legacy; and we are proud to have the opportunity to make lasting legacies in the communities we are committed to serving across SW Michigan.
