Outline: Before and After by R&A Landscaping At R & A Landscaping, we are dedicated to creating beautiful outdoor spaces as landscapes that are enjoyable aesthetically and functionally. The most recent example of our passion for high-quality work, creativity, and a stunning landscape is aptly d the: “Before and After” located in Kalamazoo, MI. This poses many challenges from the outset of the site visit to assess the property: an overgrown yard, sloping through uneven surfaces, absence of a unifying design approach and very little outdoor living space. Thankful, we were able to engage our entire team on the design process by conducting a thorough site assessment that provided visual context volume location of existing landscaping features and then identified places in need of improvement. Next, we began the transformation, remove brush and other thick undergrowth, and began leveling the ground for greater process began. The new design mix includes the concept of ‘native’ plants - great for local microclimates that breeds both exceptional aesthetics and biodiversity. The locally sourced stone pathways effectively traverse across the Garden, as well as for delightful fire pit ( area) done with Brick pavers. We also had to address the drainage of the property materials to direct potential damage to landscaping and we installed a smart irrigation system, along with several French drains. This system will assist with keeping the landscape healthy and well-kept, even with heavy rains. In the end, the outcome of the installation is a truly beautiful outdoor oasis between stunning beauty of nature and modern comforts. Our clients were incredibly pleased with the beauty on display and the functional design brought into existence within the landscape. The expanded patio area, seasonal colorful flower bed and beautiful (2) water feature symbolized realistic aspects to experience reasonable outdoor times larger periods, ultimately, not too uncomfortable.
