Summary: Front Yard Farm Seattle Urban Farm Company is delighted to introduce the Front Yard Farm a landscaping in the heart of the Greater Seattle area. We transformed a typical suburban front yard into a vibrant, functional, and sustainable urban farm that showcases sustainable living. We designed a unique landscape with raised garden beds made from reclaimed cedar, providing both durability and rustic charm. The beds were filled with rich soil to support a wide range of vegetables and herbs, including heirloom tomatoes, kale, and basil. A permeable pathway crafted from beautiful stones was a stylish addition to complement the garden beds, and sustainability was maintained with water drainage and education on the site to guide visitors through the lush landscape. The challenge of uneven ground was a simple problem that we leveled and designed to drain properly, to prevent standing water on the property. We added to the with a rainwater harvesting system that cascades rainwater from the roof into a beautiful, decorative rain barrel. We used native plantings specifically chosen for their resilience and ability to pollinate life. The overall is designed for performance, beauty, and sustainability - ultimately bridging the old-world beauty and curb appeal to a healthy lifestyle. When clients visited their at completion, they were ecstatic with their new front yard. They expressed they loved their new front yard to their son and daughter-in-law, and that their home was once again a party house for family and friends.
