West Kendall At Sunset Gardens Inc. we are proud to present our West Kendall landscaping - an exceptional transformation and continuation of our promise of excellence in Miami-Dade and Broward County. Part of our approach is marrying design and function that suit the unique needs of our clients. The central focus of the West Kendall was the design of a beautiful outdoor living space incorporating lush, native plantings that thrive in the South Florida climate. We also sought out various materials, including locally quarried stone that would serve as a walking and patio surface, for the opportunity to accentuate the surrounding area while maintaining longevity in the application and experience in the environment. Sustainability was also a guiding principle; we devised and installed a complex irrigation system that supported keeping the landscaping fresh while utilizing as little water as possible. One major challenges that arose was that the property was a little uneven, and addressing that in creative grading solutions to represent a level base for the new property elements was necessary. A part of this creative approach was to integrate, and design with, tiered garden beds to capture visual experiences and improve drainage and sediment composition. The end product, a stunning oasis that integrates a water feature, seating areas, and various flowering deposits that took advantage of biodiversity and attracted animals. Jobs well done - the client commented how impressed they were that we took their original thought and elevated that property both aesthetically and financially.
