Broward County: Oakland by Sunset Gardens Inc. Sunset Gardens Inc., is excited to present the new landscaping , "Broward County: Oakland" that exemplifies our focus on high standards of landscape design. Located in the beautiful community of Oakland, this reflects our commitment to creating gems from outdoor spaces. This involved a combination of native Florida landscapes, such as bold bougainvillea, palms, ornamental grasses and other plantings that contribute to the beauty of the outfuges while also preserving local ecological diversity. Our team selected hardscaping materials which are durable and environmentally friendly, including natural stones for pavers and permeable surfaces to help with drainage during seasonal rainfall. One of our challenges was uneven horizontal and sloped ground; our talented landscape architects carefully graded the ground for a consistent finish that provides utility and beauty. The landscape architect team also designed custom irrigation to conserve water while clearly enabling the plantings to grow while moderating water loss. The resulted in outdoor living spaces with a large patio for entertaining, a colorful flower bed and lighting in the back yard to provide beautiful evenings. The exceeded our client's expectations and added significant character to the neighborhood. Our design philosophy at Sunset Gardens Inc. is to connect to nature and community first from a space. At Sunset Gardens Inc., we are seeking to be the landscape designer of record in Miami-Dade and Broward County. The "Broward County: Oakland" supports our on-going commitment to quality workmanship and an innovative approach to landscape design.
