Driveways by Green Spaces Landscaping Our team at Green Spaces Landscaping recently completed a beautiful driveway that transformed the entrance of a scenic home in Medina. The client wanted a driveway that was functional and appealing to the eye, along with a design that complimented the surrounding landscaping. We were able to provide a combination of craftsmanship and attention to detail to deliver. First, we performed an assessment of the area to identify the best overlay and layout materials that would work well with the existing landscaping. We decided on permeable pavers with natural stone accents. The permeable pavers hold up physically while allowing the passage of water and draining in a way that does not inhibit the flow of water from higher to lower elevation. The permeable pavers are also a great capstone to a sustainable landscape. During the installation phase, we created a design with elevations in areas of the driveway that were uneven and had existing tree roots. Our team created elevations in the design that also used natural stones as a border around the areas with drainage issues. The driveway ended up as a beautifully made pattern employing interlocking pavers with ornamental grasses and green plants creeping into the paver layout as well. The client was very pleased to have a beautiful focal point that added to the existing curb appeal of the home.
