With the challenge of providing a calm outdoor space, McCabe's Nursery & Landscape Construction created a full redesign that complements the outgoing architecture of the home and gives pizazz to its surroundings. The hardscape in this is custom designed to include a stone patio that provides a functional space for outdoor entertaining or relaxing under the stars. Using local flagstone and pavers, the team created an attractive and long lasting patio that flows decently with the native landscape. A serpentine path laced with colorful drought-resistant plants and ornamental grasses leads the way through the grounds, establishing a feeling of discovery and serenity. The lot itself was very uneven which was one of the main difficulties we encountered. The talented team masterfully graded the yard, forming the planting beds into tiers creating visual interest while managing water runoff. Because of this method, a special rain garden became part of the courtyard, one that collects and filters rainwater, making the entire area more sustainable and better looking. A beautiful water feature in the form of a fountain with flowering perennials added to enhance the outdoor experience. It acts as a tranquil centre of interest and can also entice local wildlife to your garden adding more life to your garden. Using high quality building materials and time-honored craftsmanship, every detail of the has been astutely thought out, resulting in an awe-inspiring landscape which astutely embodies the Hepp family journey into blossoming the unknown. The end result was beyond what everyone thought would turn out, updating a new use of space into a colorful, functional haven which now the clients refer to as home.
