San Diego Spanish Backyard by Mooch Exterior Designs, Inc. Located in the dynamic core of San Diego, the “San Diego Spanish Backyard” represents the artistry and craftsmanship of Mooch Exterior Designs, Inc. This showcases a beautiful redesign of Spanish style landscaping for the SoCal lifestyle and climate. The team started this by focusing on the clients' need for a tranquil outdoor space that matched the architecture style of the home. We selected vibrant native plants, including bougainvillea, rosemary, and drought-tolerant succulents, to create a lush oasis in San Diego's Mediterranean climate. Terracotta tiles are used for the pathways and patio providing durability and low maintenance while enhancing a Spanish flare. Another feature of the was a custom-designed pergola that was constructed from reclaimed wood and meshed rustic charm with modern style. The shaded space serves as a home gathering spot with hanging lights to create a magical experience for evening gatherings. The team integrated a spectacular water feature with a waterfall that provided soothing sounds as well as filling a design element of the garden. The had challenges, including uneven terrain and budget limiting factors. Mooch’s innovative design ideas and planning carefully executed how those elements returned the stunning result. The outdoor space achieved the balance of function and beauty, cozy seating, vibrant flower beds five distinct spaces with seamless transitions to the interior. The effective and thrilled clients enjoy their changed backyard space as a whole new world for leisure and gatherings based on colors and textures celebrating the language of Spanish decor.
