Situated along calm and beautiful lake waters, the Shorefront Property completed by MT Carpenter Landscape Inc. is the perfect balance of nature and luxury outdoor living. With clients across the area including Bethel, Cambridge, Cedar, East Bethel, Isanti, Oak Grove, Saint Francis, Plymouth, Maple Grove, Blaine, Minneapolis, North Oaks, Orono, Minnetonka, and Medina, the MT Carpenter Landscape team was extremely excited to help transform a basic yard into a lakeside oasis. The began with an in-depth site analysis which showed the distinct topography and ecology of the shoreline. In order to keep with the natural beauty of the landscape, as well as respect sustainable design, it was decided to use native planting within the landscape to enhance biodiversity and maintenance. Various ornamental grasses, flowering perennials, and hardy shrubs were used to enhance the landscape's beauty while providing layers of color and texture throughout the seasons. One of the major challenges was erosion control along the water's edge. This was resolved with both natural stone retaining walls and thoughtfully placed boulders to stabilize the shoreline while adding a rustic appeal to the property. Additionally, a one-of-a-kind wood dock was designed and custom-built, to blend into the landscape and allow the client to immerse themselves in the world of fishing in leisure. Our commitment to quality craftsmanship showed throughout the from the stone laid pathways meandering through the native planting, to the ambience in the soft glowing light for evening fun. A stunning space was ultimately completed to characterize the client's vision of an adorable outdoor space and to bring family and friends together to create memories. The was dramatically transformed into an amazing waterfront area where the client enjoys entertaining friends and family, as well as spending time quietly reflecting, fishing, and relaxing on one or both of the amazing shores.
