Newport News New Construction Created by Wild Works of Whimsy, LLC Located in the heart of Newport News, Wild Works of Whimsy, LLC's 'Newport News New Construction' features the perfect combination of simple modern design and beautiful nature. This landscaping reimagined an empty newly constructed home into an exquisite outdoor environment, strategically built to support the home’s architectural features and embrace the environment's natural beauty. Wild Works of Whimsy, LLC utilized premier materials to craft an inviting front entrance of locally sourced stone pavers and durable sod, while creating a backyard oasis. Welcoming pathways provided a conceptual journey through a beautiful garden, highlighted with native plantings and other perennials that provide year-round beauty, as well as low maintenance. A state-of-the-art irrigation system was designed to encourage sustainable water usage, while conquering a true obstacle of typical homeowner's issues of keeping plants healthy and flourishing under the extremes of the climate. One real challenge of the property was the sloped grading, which required innovative grading features. By combining terraced planting beds and retaining walls, we developed a property with visual comfort and added drainage measures that strengthened the longevity of the landscape. The overall results are simply stunning, a cohesive blend of function and beautify. From the inviting front pathway with seasonal flowers to the tranquil backyard gathering area with a fire pit and seating area, the landscaping features were all crafted with the intention of the owner in mind. Wild Works of Whimsy, LLC took pride in presented to the home owner, quality craftsmanship with our eye for detail, to bring a completely new construction into a home.
