The Spitsnaugle Residence At McCabe's Nursery & Landscape Construction, we love transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful landscapes and the Spitsnaugle Residence is just one great example of our work. Set in a beautifully serene De Luz, this seamlessly blends functionality and beauty to embrace a tranquil experience. The landscape harmonizes drought-tolerant native California plants, succulents, and flowering shrubs selected for the local climate. Natural stone walkways weave effortlessly through the garden, enhancing the aesthetic while providing functional use. Employing top-shelf materials, from locally-sourced flagstone to high-end mulch, adds years to the life of both your landscape and visual appeal. The steep topography of the property was also one of the difficulties we had to deal with. Crafting terraced planting beds that both reduced erosion and provided sections for different plant species was the specialty of our talented team. So this creative solution turned a place that could easily be dreadfully claustrophobic into a warm and utilitarian outdoor area. We also implemented a custom irrigation system that conserves water and provides each plant with the proper care it needs. This results in a lush, verdant environment which stays active through even the hottest months. What we revealed in the end thrilled our clients and added a peaceful outdoor entertaining and relaxing space.
