Summary: Native Landscape by Native Roots Landscape Located in beautiful Texas Hill Country, the "Native Landscape" embodies Native Roots Landscape's principles of sustainability and beauty. The serves the communities of Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Boerne, San Antonio, and Austin, while respecting the native ecosystem, and contributing appeal to the property. The design included a variety of native plants; bluebonnets, blackfoot daisies, and Texas sage, were selected to thrive in the climate and soils of the area. We used natural stone pathways and rustic wood edges controlled in their purpose, while also utilizing materials from the local area that reflected the local ecology, creating unity in the landscape. The challenging landscape configuration was the slope of the layout. Our team utilized new grading techniques through an innovative design, and careful management of drainage and soil stability, while integrating the stone and wood elements. The building of the landscape was completed with sustainable practices while establishing a drip irrigation system to reduce water use and foster the health of the plants. Our commitment to detail in craftsmanship was apparent in every detail, from the stonework precision to the meticulous arrangement of the plant material, everything showed our care for detail and quality. The finish of the was an amazing special area that showcased the beauty of natural materials found in Texas Hill Country and was easy to enjoy and manage. The client was very pleased with the outcome and expressed that the provided functional beauty. The 'Native Landscape' is a great example of the difference a thoughtful designer can make to the environment the homeowner will occupy.
