Bird Key Residence No doubt, DWY Landscape Architects was on hand to proudly present the breathtaking view revealing lines of sloped elegance in the revealing lines of the Bird Key Residence. This home located in the beautiful neighborhood of Bird Key needed extensive landscaping that would beautify the home as well as improve the living environment. Challenges included finding a way to consider contemporary design while avoiding existing mature trees. We crafted a landscape with native plantings and an efficient irrigation system to promote lasting growth and help reduce water use in the future. This design showcases a stunning selection of tropical palms, exotic flowering plants with seasonal frappes, and ornamental grasses for a rich, yet calming environment. They then sourced high-grade materials to create beautiful hardscapes, like a custom stone path weaving through the property that leads into a gorgeous outdoor living space. It features a custom built patio cover with climbing jasmine perfect for relaxing and entertaining. They even added a quiet water feature to attract local wildlife and provide a soothing sound. The team had to work throughout the to find a way to mesh elements of contemporary living with the surrounding nature. That the output was a perfect blend of form and function, achieved through innovative techniques and close attention to detail. Today, the Bird Key Residence stands as an example of our overdelivery on quality and excellence in craftsmanship. The happy homeowners thanked us a lot for the change, telling that their redesigned landscape is a space filled with family gatherings and quiet times, now.
