Clean Lines by Happy Gardens Located in Fort Worth, Happy Gardens is delighted to take our audience behind the scenes of the landscaping , 'Clean Lines,' which reimagined a homeowner's outdoor space to be a tranquil modern getaway. The original concept revolved around a design approach that was simple, elegant, and functional. This approach melded perfectly with the form and character of the existing Westover Hills homes. The landscaping was organized with striking geometric beds that were crafted using premium natural stone and paired with modern plantings that are also low-maintenance. Specifically, we selected drought-tolerant native plants that will thrive in the Texas climate, as a commitment to sustainability and reduced maintenance. We also specified decorative gravel pathways that enhance the modern character of the garden and provide a practical way to navigate it. One area that presented challenges was the high and mostly uneven topography of the property. Our landscaping team was able to grade the site to achieve pleasing elevations that worked well with the original topography, maintaining visual interest while also providing a solution for drainage. At the top of the design elements was a custom-built outdoor gathering area where one can lounge and entertain. It was built from durable all-weather materials and invited the family and friends to enjoy time together. Our clients were extremely pleased with the outcome of the and how the integration of modern design with naturalism created a quiet oasis for their family, while also improving their home's curb appeal and facade.
