Backyard Ponds by Prestige One Landscaping At Prestige One Landscaping, we have just completed a charming called "Backyard Ponds," transforming a suburban outdoor area into a peaceful retreat. We provide services to a wide range of customers in locations like Avondale, Birmingham, and Kansas City, and our team was eager to take on the challenges of creating this large, identity-filled landscape. In this , we installed two beautiful ponds and a cascading natural stone waterfall to create tranquil sounds. Our team utilized durable butyl rubber liners to construct the ponds. The areas surrounding the ponds were planted with native plants that were chosen for their toughness through changing seasons, which means that delay regenerates the colourful idiosyncrasies of seasonal changes for their landscapes, even when their dormant state reflects an attractive palette of features through the fall and winter. We used a mix of stunningly colourful water lilies and various floating plants to create and sustain a balance of ecology and aesthetics. One of the challenges on this site was dealing with the landscape's sloping topography, which led to creative ideas in grading the land to maintain water flow. Our team designed and excavated the entire site to ensure 1) the ponds had proper drainage, preventing water pooling, and 2) the ponds functionally adorn the land effectively without the burden of erosion. The resulting space consisted of custom stone seating areas and winding paths that lead one into a shaded retreat where relaxation and quiet contemplation are welcomed. The client was excited to have their new backyard retreat, a masterpiece of art and nature. The provided a welcome reprieve for family gatherings and relaxing evenings by the water.
