The Plantings required a full renovation of a residential landscape that was underdeveloped. Although our teams are used to working with the challenges of poor soil quality and limited light, we wanted to build a successful landscape design that required careful planning and execution. To begin, we filled out a Comprehensive Site Analysis (CSA) template for the property that included not only information the quality of the soil, but also the amount of sunlight in different areas of the garden. We selected a common group of native and ornamental species, while considering the growing constraints of vibrant perennials, shrubs, and trees that exhibited interest in the winter, a time when maintenance will be less exciting. With approved selections in hand, we amended the soil with high-quality, organic soil amendments and began the process of constructing a successful landscape to last for the long term. Decorative mulches, natural stones for pathways, and zoysia sod were incorporated within drip irrigated beds to create a cohesive and sustainable landscape. Each detail, nicely crafted, ensured that the ensuing landscape design complimented the architecture of the home, while also functional and spontaneous for social and relaxing gatherings. Overall, we delivered a beautiful garden that inspired joy in our clients. The colorful plants introduced dynamics and became appealing, by being made possible with our detail plan laid out in our CSA, to provide each area offered within the bland yard undeserving of because of its condition. Our clients were extremely satisfied and even noted that they found it relieved their discontent for how complicated their last experience attempted to upgrade their curb appeal.
