Type: Hotel 1928 Restaurant Landscaping by Edge VR Studios Edge VR Studios is pleased to announce the recently finished landscaping for the fine dining commercial development of Hotel 1928 Restaurant in Los Angeles. Redefining the outdoor dining experience, this blends the outdoors with sophistication and serenity to create an inviting experience for patrons. We had very well to play with it as a base for creating a perfect balance with the greenery and colourful floral restaurants yet could perfectly work with the modern architecture of it while maintaining the harmony of a sustainably design but easy-maintainable place. After researching extensively, we chose final plants that would thrive in the Southern California climate, such as succulents, ornamental grasses, and flowering shrubs that are drought-resistant, which complement the beauty and assist in the preservation in water consumption. We overlaid the pathways with natural stone and decorative gravel to not only add to a rustic aesthetic but keep it permanent with high-quality materials. Unique wooden trellises mixed with climbers create dining nooks that have a unique propriety mixed with breeze and sunlight that makes diners to unwind and eat their food. The end result is a breathtaking landscape that suits the restaurant: a balance of color, texture and shape. The client was overjoyed at the change, saying how the greenery not only enhances the dining experience, but also acts as a draw for patrons passing by.
