About This Project

The "Let There Be Light!" project in Yorktown, VA, is a stunning master bath remodel executed by the talented team at Marshall Arts. This transformation caters to a client’s desire for a bright and serene bathroom space that harmonizes with the neutral tones prevalent throughout their home. The project commenced with the thoughtful demolition of the walls enclosing the old shower, allowing for an airy and open design that maximizes natural light. To elevate the aesthetics and functionality of the shower, the dated tiled seat and curb were replaced with elegant quartz, mirroring the contemporary style of the vanity. The selection of new shower fixtures in a sophisticated Champagne Bronze finish adds a touch of luxury, featuring a large raincan and a handheld showerhead on a convenient slide bar. A recessed niche was cleverly incorporated into the design, providing additional storage while maintaining the clean lines of the space. The crowning glory of the shower is the heavy glass surround paired with an LED recessed light above, which not only illuminates the area beautifully but also creates an inviting ambiance. While the existing jetted tub was retained, it underwent a thoughtful upgrade with a new tiled deck and modern fixtures, including a practical handheld sprayer that enhances usability. The vanity, in excellent condition, was preserved to maintain the integrity of the original design while complementing the new elements. Overall, the "Let There Be Light!" project successfully marries functionality with elegant design, resulting in a tranquil yet sophisticated master bath that exceeds the client’s expectations. This remodel not only enhances the space visually but also contributes to a more enjoyable daily routine, embodying the essence of modern bathroom design.
