From Cathcart to Woodinville, this home had so much potential for beauty and complementing the surrounding natural landscape of outdoor living. A stunning custom stone patio from local bluestone that serves as a focal point for outdoor gatherings was just one of many elements in this . The earthy tones and detailed finish of the stone provide a rich warmth that easily integrates with the garden surroundings. We installed colorful native plants throughout the property in areas to maximize visual interest & a functional native landscape (i.e. wildlife sustenance, year-round visual interest and texture). This time, they included flowering dogwoods, ornamental grasses, and hardy perennials native or able to adjust to the northeast climate. The first major obstacle we faced was the uneven terrain of the property, requiring careful grading and features to redirect water away from hardscape surfaces to prevent pooling. Our team who are very experienced with these challenges travelled across the landscape to ensure that not only the aesthetic look was great but also helped the place work well. Our irrigation system, which saves water while keeping the lush landscape healthy, is state-of-the-art. With that, the Fink family had an outdoor space that worked harmoniously together. They have a lived in yard that has character and elegance that suits their taste providing a backdrop for outdoor entertaining.
