The Tucson Desert Oasis project transformed a two-story home into a stunning retreat that fully embraces the breathtaking views of the Catalina Mountains. The renovation commenced with the design and construction of a rammed earth wall, meticulously crafted to screen the neighboring property while simultaneously serving as a striking visual element that enhances the overall aesthetic of the space. The hardscape was thoughtfully upgraded with concrete pavers that mimic the natural beauty of flagstone, complemented by true flagstone coping around the pool, creating a seamless and elegant transition between the various outdoor areas. To further enhance the landscape, synthetic turf was strategically incorporated, providing both visual relief and functional space for the homeowner and their dog to enjoy. This addition not only contributes to the beauty of the yard but also offers a low-maintenance solution suitable for the desert climate. The outdoor kitchen was revitalized with the installation of a new grill and smoker, allowing for an exceptional culinary experience under the sun, while colorful accent tiles were thoughtfully placed throughout the project to inject vibrancy and character into the design. A unique artistic touch was added with the installation of custom-designed and fabricated trellises alongside the pool equipment wall. These trellises provide additional screening for privacy while also serving as a canvas for the lush purple lilac vines that were planted in front, reflecting the client’s personal style and love for nature. The outcome of this comprehensive renovation is a harmonious blend of functionality and artistry, resulting in a tranquil outdoor oasis that invites relaxation and enjoyment.
